Air collector B-20-0.8 (volume: 20 cubic meters)
Monastyrishchensky plant of boiler equipment "Energometmash" manufactures air intake "V-20-0.8" , which is a special vessel placed at the top of the heating system and designed to collect and remove excess air and belongs to auxiliary boiler equipment.
A separate pressure gauge is installed on the air collector, as well as a safety valve with mating flanges. According to its design, the air collector can be horizontal and vertical in the form of a cylindrical vessel with elliptical bottoms, a hatch and fittings. The working medium for the air collector is air.
The volume of the air collector ranges from 0.2 m 3 up to 80 m 3 . The air collector is designed for operation at temperatures from -70°С to +200°С. Its service life is up to 40 years. Technologically, the air collector is designed to create an air supply in order to smooth out pulsations in the air ducts of boiler systems. The maximum pressure on the air collector of this modification is no more than 0.785 MPa (8 kgf / cm²).
Technical characteristics of the air collector " V -20-0.8 "
Marking | Nominal volume, m 3 | Working pressure, MPa | Height | Diameter | Pipe diameter in/out air | Weight, kg |
Air collector V-20-0.8 | 20.0 | 0.8 | 6870 | 2000 | 300 | 4455 |
Application
Air receivers (Air collectors) are needed for:
- provision of air supply for technological needs;
- elimination of pulsation in the air ducts during the operation of reciprocating compressors;
- cooling process and condensate collection.
Air intakes are also used to trap moisture and oils, and store compressed air to cover short-term and unexpected load peaks of small compressors. They are used in installations of screw and rotary stationary compressors. The working medium is air, but it is possible to use an air collector to store nitrogen, argon and other inert gases.
