Chimney pipes steel with stretch marks
Monastyrishchensky plant of boiler equipment "Energometmash" manufactures industrial chimneys, which are designed to remove flue gases into the atmosphere and are complex engineering structures. The uninterrupted operation of industrial boilers depends on the technically competent design and operation of chimneys.
The diameter and height of the chimney are calculated in such a way that the entire volume of exhaust gases in all operating modes is discharged into the atmosphere.
The height of the chimney is determined based on the results of the aerodynamic calculation of the gas path, taking into account the provision of environmental standards for the maximum permissible concentrations of harmful substances during dispersion of combustion products in the atmosphere.
When calculating the chimney, the temperature of the flue gases, the slightly aggressive chemical environment of the flue gases, wind and snow loads are taken into account. In addition, chimneys must comply with the requirements of regulatory documents.
Chimneys with extensions
The most economical in terms of design and installation are single-barreled metal pipes on stretch marks. The main advantages of such pipes are low cost, convenience and relative simplicity of the installation process.
Guyed pipes are structurally composed of several sections that are convenient for transportation and installation at the site of operation. Stretched chimneys are made by rolling steel sheets into shells (sections). Sections are joined to the desired length at the pipe installation site. The trunk of the lower section of the chimney is attached to the base plate with stiffeners to ensure the strength of the connection at the points of attachment of the pipe to the foundation. All butt welds are made with full penetration in thickness, followed by control by physical methods (according to GOST 23118-99).
Diameter and height of manufactured chimneys with stretch marks
Chimney diameter, D, mm | Chimney height, H, mm |
Ø 325 | from 15m to 22m |
Ø 426 | from 15m to 22m |
Ø 450 | from 15m to 30m |
Ø 530 | from 15m to 30m |
Ø 630 | from 15m to 30m |
To ensure stability, the chimney is equipped with one or two guy belts located at an angle of 120° in plan. The chimney exhaust shaft is equipped with a condensate drain and an inspection hatch.
Assembly and installation of the chimney is carried out by the Customer at the installation site. The only drawback of this design is the need for a large area to accommodate the "bulls" for attaching guy wires.
