Secondary steam separator SVP-0.3 (flow rate: 10 tons per hour)
Monastyrishchensky plant of boiler equipment "Energometmash" offers a secondary steam separator (secondary flashing) of the "SVP-0.3" series of its own production, which is designed for use in boiler blowdown and heat recovery systems, where it is important to separate the flashback steam from the blowdown to prevent contamination of the feed boiler tank and/or heat transfer surfaces. Also suitable for use in condensate collection and return systems.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION:
The pressure of the condensate/blowdown water entering the SPWV separator is reduced, which leads to secondary flashing. The secondary steam is returned to the system or used for other technological purposes, such as in the heating system.
INSTALLATION AND CHARACTERISTICS:
The secondary flash steam separator SPVV is mounted vertically in such a way that the outlet of the secondary steam is at the top. Each separator has a G½" threaded fitting (female thread) for installing a pressure gauge with a compensation tube. To drain condensate from the separator, it is recommended to use a condensate drain assembly consisting of a strainer, float trap, sight glass, check valve and shut-off valves. The separator has a branch pipe for a safety valve.
