Boiler Equipment Factory

Clarifying filter FOV-0.7-0.6 (3 m3/hour)

Monastyrishchensky plant of boiler equipment "Energometmash" offers a clarification filter of the "FOV-0.7-0.6" series with a capacity of 3 cubic meters per hour of its own production.

Clarifying filters of the "FOV" series are designed to remove suspended impurities of various degrees of dispersion from water and are widely used in the schemes of water treatment plants of power plants, industrial and heating boilers.

Clarification of water when passing it through a clarification filter occurs as a result of the adhesion of coarse water impurities to the grains of the filter material, which are retained on the surface and in the pores of the filter material.

Filter materials

Crushed anthracite, quartz sand, marble chips and others are used as filter materials, which have the necessary chemical resistance and strength (grindability not more than 4%, abrasion not more than 0.5%). When contamination of clarified water with silicic acid is undesirable, it is advisable to use crushed anthracite, which is chemically resistant and contains a small amount of silicic acid. It is the best filter material for clarifying filters.

Device for clarifying filters "FOV"

Clarifying filters are vertical single-chamber devices, consisting of a housing, lower and upper distribution devices, pipelines, shut-off valves, a sampling device and a filter load. Filters with housing diameters of 1400 mm are manufactured with an internal pipeline. The filter housing is cylindrical, welded from sheet steel, with elliptical stamped upper and lower bottoms and are manufactured without a flange connector.

The upper distribution device of the clarification filter is a baffle plate and is designed to dampen the energy of the flow of water entering the treatment. The lower tubular distribution device with slotted drain caps (plastic slotted drain caps or stainless slotted drain caps) is designed for uniform collection of treated water, regeneration solution and wash water, as well as uniform distribution of loosening water over the filter section. The bottom drainage distribution device can be made of stainless steel. The fittings on the outlets of the switchgear are directed downwards and, due to their different lengths, the position of the caps copies the shape of the bottom. To inspect the lower switchgear, there is an oval hole measuring 325x400 mm. Three supports are welded to the lower bottom to install the filter on the foundation.

For loading filters with a diameter of 1000 and 1400 mm with filtering material, branch pipes are provided in the upper part of the housing and for unloading in the lower part of the housing. There is an oval manhole in the upper part of the housing for loading filter material with a diameter of 2000 mm, for unloading in the lower part of the housing there is a branch pipe. It is recommended to load and unload the filter material hydraulically.

Pipelines and shut-off valves located along the front of the filters make it possible to supply to the filter and remove from it all the flows of water and regeneration solution during operation. The sampling device is located along the front of the filters and consists of tubes connected to pipelines supplied for treatment and treated water, valves and pressure gauges showing the pressure before and after the filters. Sampling tubes and an air vent tube are brought to a water collector, the discharge from which is carried out into a non-pressure drainage.
