Ionic filter of the second stage FIP-II-2.0-0.6

Monastyrishchensky plant of boiler equipment "Energometmash" offers a filter for sodium cationization of the second stage of the "FIPa-II-2.0-0.6" series with a capacity of 150 cubic meters per hour, which is intended for use in water treatment plants and heating, industrial, production and heating boiler houses.

Ion-exchange filters (FIPa I and FIPa II) are designed for softening and chemical desalination of natural waters (treated water is passed through a layer of cation exchanger placed in the filter) as I and II stages of treatment.

Sodium-cationite filters are used at water treatment plants of power plants, industrial and heating boiler houses and are designed for deep softening of source water, as well as trapping breakthroughs of hardness salts after the first stage of treatment.

The filters are designed for indoor operation at an ambient temperature of at least 5ºС and a filtered water temperature of not more than 40ºС. Softening occurs as follows: water that has been processed on the first stage Na-cation exchange filters enters the second stage Na-cation exchange filter at a pressure of 0.6 MPa and passes through a layer of granular ion-exchange material from top to bottom. At the same time, the cation exchanger absorbs Ca2+ and Mg2+ ions from water, which determine its rigidity, and replaces them with an equivalent amount of Na+ ions. Loosening is designed to eliminate the compaction of the ion-exchange material, which prevents the free access of the regeneration solution to its grains. Regeneration of the cation exchanger to enrich it with Na + ions is carried out with a 5-8% NaCl solution. Washing of the ion-exchange material from the regeneration solution and regeneration products occurs in the direction from top to bottom.

The filter cycle consists of the following operations:

  • softening;
  • loosening;
  • regeneration;
  • washing.;
